چکیده
The effect of nozzle number on the combustion and emission characteristics diesel engines operating at high altitudes was investigated in this study. A three-dimensional computational fluid dynamics model developed to simulate spray spatial distribution, which is closely related number. intake pressure identified as dominant factor under varying altitudes, while fuel mass, injection timing temperature were maintained constant. Altitudes 3000 m chosen represent typical high-altitude conditions, sea level cases simulated for comparison. results demonstrated that operation reduced air utility chamber, leading suppressed soot oxidization worse emissions. Moreover, more nozzles will decrease pressure, resulting inadequate diffusion detrimental effects efficiency control. However, too few may cause wall collisions worsen conditions. also influences combustion, with a higher exacerbating poor optimal engine studied determined be six. Hence, determining plays vital role achieving performance highland engines. This study provides valuable guidance development environments, where controlling consumption emissions challenging.

Air pollution is one of the major issues about the diesel engines in todays' world. It is a special concern in those areas that have difficulty meeting health-based outdoor air quality standards. Natural gas has low emission and resource abundance and also conventional compression ignition engine can be easily converted to a dual fuel mode to use natural gas as main fuel and diesel as pilot ...

In this study, the effects of JP-4-biodiesel-diesel blends and engine operating parameters on the performance characteristics of a diesel engine were investigated. The experimental tests were performed on a four-cylinder DI diesel engine. The Mixture-RSM method was applied to develop the mathematical models based on the experimental data. The results showed that the fitted models could be prope...
